Through the development of projects for a diverse audience Delta-S wants to fulfill the general need for interdisciplinary education concerning contemporary developments in the fields of (visual) art, philosophy, architecture, (new) media and technology. With these activities, such as workshops, presentations and lectures, Delta-S wants to bring into existence a lively social discourse regarding the contemporary relation between society and individuality. Furthermore Delta-S also wants to initiate an academic network for lectures and courses. Delta-S observes that still today many academic institutions such as faculties and departments for research, remain oriented inwards when it comes to the development of cultural and social theory. Therefor Delta-S wants to initiate an interdisciplinary school or research platform in which scholars from different scientific fields can exchange ideas and knowledge in an open, rhizomatic, non-hierarchic environment, thereby exceding their profesional boundaries.
